All the data used by Vijilent is publicly available. We respect people's privacy and will not use any content from social media that may be marked as private. We also have an opt-out form for those who don't want their data to be searched. To comply with GDPR, we do not provide accounts to individuals with EU e-mail or postal addresses. Vijilent is not a credit reporting agency and as such our DataPortraits may not be used for any activity covered by the FCRA.

Also, having very little information about a person makes it very difficult to pinpoint a subject. An email address or middle name greatly inproves the chances that we will pinpoint a person.
